NFEST
It is with great regret that the Needingworth Village Hall Charitable Trust have made the decision not to run NFEST in 2024.
The Music Festival in 2023 was a great success, our best yet, and drew record numbers of people who came to enjoy 2 days of music making. Sadly, with recent and imminent Trustee and NFEST sub-committee departures we do not have enough people in place to be able to plan and execute the event this year.
So that we can run NFEST again 2025 we are starting our recruitment efforts now! We need 6 volunteers to join as Charity Trustees and 5 people to join the NFEST sub-committee as Lead Organisers. A person can be both a Trustee and a Lead Organiser.
Charity Trustees are responsible for the general administration of the charity that runs the Village Hall and the NFEST Lead Organisers are responsible for the delivery of specific areas such as:
- Sponsorship and advertising revenue
- Website and social media promotion
- Sourcing and managing outside caterers
- Building partnerships with participating community groups
- Site Management across the 2 days
- Environmental impact / Climate declaration
If you feel able and willing to take up any of these roles or would like more information on what the roles entail please email Secretary@NeedingworthVillageHall.com.
This year’s festival generated £8K. These funds will nearly all be used up to just keep the hall running over the next year. So, you will understand that we didn’t take the decision to cancel NFEST24 lightly.
Thank you for reading this and we hope to hear from you soon!
